Paulina Caro Troncoso, University of Edinburgh

Paulina Caro Troncoso, guest editor of this special issue, is a PhD candidate in History of Art at the University of Edinburgh. Her research, funded by Chile’s National Research and Development Agency (ANID), examines from a transnational perspective the works Chilean Surrealist artist Roberto Sebastian Matta made in Europe and Latin America in the 1960s and 1970s. She recently published the article “Between the Museum and the Street: Roberto Matta’s Works in Chile during the Unidad Popular” in the Bulletin of Latin American Research.
