Jenny Harris is a Ph.D. student specializing in twentieth-century art at the University of Chicago. Her research explores intersections of dance and performance with visual art, and the status of craft, design and decoration in modernist art histories. Between 2013 and 2019, she worked in The Museum of Modern Art’s Department of Painting and Sculpture. Before that, she held curatorial positions at the Musée du Louvre, the Guggenheim Museum, and the Whitney Museum of American Art. She graduated from Wellesley College with a B.A. in Art History in 2012.
